Subject: Farming in the 20's or early 30's
Now largely mechanized and electrified farming on a darling farm (Iowa? Ill? - I'm guessing by the familiar square cupola on the barns); and later, a citrus farm, who knows where.

The part about the "consolidated school" the school bus the road under construction and the business about "those farms that have the highest output address "government research" derived methods" has an air of WPA and other aspects of the Roosevelt era.

A very picturesque look at a bygone era in the country. A well filmed documentary but the only "vocational guidance" I got was - leave that farm and go get a desk job (Wash DC would be a good place to start) because..farms are too too much work!
